Case Packer Operator – 3rd shift

We currently have an opening in our Production Department for a Case Packer Operator. This opening is on 3rd Shift (10pm-6am). This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for running the case packer.

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform changeovers for different pack sizes
  • Perform case sealer changeovers for different pack sizes
  • Follow production schedule guidelines and perform verifications to insure case and bottle cap codes are accurate and legible
  • Perform and verify multiple timely changeovers on box coders
  • Complete and verify quality checks on codes on time as required
  • Clear out machine when jams occur
  • Manage full pallet case count and full case vision system
  • Keep glue pots on box former and case sealer filled with glue pellets
  • Fill out shift paperwork
  • Complete and perform all operator preventative maintenance reviews of equipment and lines
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Follow good housekeeping standards to ensure cleanliness
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

 
 

 

Experience & Skills

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6 months machine operating experience
