POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Brand Manager reports to the Marketing Director and is based out of our Port Washington, NY location. This manager will be responsible for delivering brand and business objectives via development and execution of strategic marketing plans. Additionally, the Brand Manager will be responsible for achievement of specific Channel objectives (e.g. Club).

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Effectively and efficiently achieve brand performance targets via development and execution of strategic marketing plans and supporting initiatives
  • Uncover growth opportunities (and inform strategies) by identifying and understanding evolving consumer needs, segmentation, and marketplace trends
  • Aid in driving New Product initiatives from concept development to launch/execution, including P&L evaluation and forecasting size of business opportunity
  • Actively partner with sales team to develop growth and innovation strategies for key customers. Specifically, the Brand Manager will evaluate/deliver on ad-hoc requests for new products and programs, develop/contribute to selling presentations for category reviews, contend with competitive threats, etc.
  • Lead internal cross functional teams and external agencies in development and activation of plans/programs
  • Evaluate business performance and trends and provide ad-hoc analysis of brands, including the tracking of new item results and recommending actions as appropriate
  • Utilize strong analytic skills to leverage data across multiple sources to become an expert in the category, and bring rigor in translating data into insights and action
  • Coach ABM in management and tracking of budgets, serve as mentor and resource for Consumer Relations department
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS degree required, MBA strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in brand management
  • Experience in CPG industry required, Food & Beverage preferred

  • Planning, monitoring, and assessing job results; coaching, and counseling employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, procedures, and productivity standards.
