Do we have your interest yet? If so we currently have openings in our Processing Department for a Blender Operator. The openings we currently have are on our Second (2 PM – 10:30 PM) and our Third (10 PM – 6:30 AM) shift. These positions will report to the Processing Manager and will be responsible for reading and following blending guidelines as set forth on a formula sheet to adhere to Company and customer specifications.

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Match color of juice to control standards.
  • Weigh and pump ingredients for batch.
  • Open drums and containers for blending in batch.
  • Perform quality checks before releasing batch to production.  Items to check are:  brix, acid, pH, sensory and color.
  • Adjust batches to meet specification.
  • Utilize computer/touch screen to fill batch tanks.
  • Responsible for resolving all errors related to batches, move empty drums/totes/bins to staging area for proper removal.
 
Experience & Skills

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with SIX months of manufacturing experience.
  • Forklift certification and experience in food and beverage manufacturing with batching experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to use computer, scanner, and touch screens for various tasks.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Career Readiness Certificate preferred or the ability to obtain a Career Readiness Certificate
  • Ability to make good, sound, analytical decisions
  • Mechanical experience/background preferred
  • Basic Computer skills
